Projects

 

With its four scientific working groups , IWE 1 conducts research on a wide range of topics in the field of micro- and nanosystems. The research topics include life sciences, environmental sensor technology, and Industry 4.0 based on clean room technology, material characterization, packaging and interconnection technology, sensor development and characterization, portable electronics, and wireless sensor technology.

Our research activities are financed by various funding institutions such as direct industrial projects, the Federal Ministry for Education and Research BMBF, the German Research Association DFG, the European Union EU, and international partners.
