AixSense 2018 - 2022
AixSense 2022 - Acute Inflammation |
---|
Theme The 2022 theme focused on the detection of acute inflammation and sepsis. |
Team Team captain Roman Leonov entered the competition this year together with Magdalena Schone, Janic Töx, Sven Töx, Dylan Nguyven and exchange student from Tokyo Tech University Kenichi Akutagawa. |
AixSense 2021 - Influenza A |
---|
The Theme The theme of the 2021 SensUs competition, and thus for the fourth generation of the AixSense team, focused on influenza A. The prototype biosensor had to be designed to detect the virus in saliva samples. |
The Team The fourth generation AixSense team rose to the challenge of the project despite the constraints of the Covid-19 pandemic. Four students from the field of Electrical and Computer Engineering with specializations in Computer Engineering and Micro-Nano Technology formed the team. Led by Daniyar Kizatov, Jiayi He, Anshul Orashar, and Shunjiro Sodei worked on the project. |
Award The team was awarded second place in the category "Analytical Performance" - i.e. for the functionality and accuracy of the sensor prototype. |
AixSense 2020 - Epilepsy |
---|
The Theme The topic of the 2020 SensUs competition and thus for the third generation of the AixSense team developed a biosensor for the detection of valporic acid. This is an indicator in the treatment of the pathology of epilepsy. |
The Team Team 2020 was led by Luca Fehlings. The team included six other students of electrical engineering and information technology and materials science: Stefan Leisten, Abarna Ravichandran, Jerome Jayakar Sahaya, Hendrik Kupper, Jonas Steiner, and Shilpa Suresh. |
The Impact After the competition, students from the team continued to research the thematic area and worked on follow-up publications (publication date tba). Here you can find the SensUs 2020 After Movie! |
AixSense 2019 - Rheumatism |
---|
The Theme The topic of the SensUs competition 2019 and thus for the second generation of the AixSense team developed a biosensor for the detection of adalimumab. This is an indicator in the treatment of the pathology of rheumatism. |
