Micro- and Nanoelectronics Laboratory (MiNa) (3 SWS, WS)

The "Micro- and Nanoelectronics Laboratory“ is offered by the chairs with their focus on “micro- and nanoelectronics” and is dedicated to Bachelor's students with this major.

IWE1 offers two experiments. The first one introduces packaging methods like flip-chip-bonding and ball-wedge-bonding. The opportunity of performing these methods with guidance is given to the students in the laboratories of IWE1. An investigation of the formed bonds is carried out by electrical resistance measurements utilizing four-wire-sensing.

The second experiment at IWE1 deals with operational amplifiers. Differences between real and ideal operational amplifiers will be pointed out. After that the students build some amplification circuits in order to characterize their behavior using an oscilloscope. Finally the results will be compared to values from the datasheet of the used operational amplifier.

Undergraduate research project (SS)

Topics will be presented here at the beginning of summer term.
